    Why The University of Malta Is Great

    Right across from the Mediterranean with an interesting and vibrant economic and social culture, the University of Malta is a highly internationally student popular university with over 11,000 students enrolled. (700 international students).

    With Malta being a highly visited tourist destination, it is no surprise why going to study in Malta would be a great opportunity for many.

    Malta is one of the world’s smallest countries with a dense population of 515,000. Located in the European Union right underneath Italy, Malta is one of the biggest islands there surrounded by the Island of Gozo and Comino. These are also inhabited adding up to a total population of 420,000.

    The University of Malta has been up for over 400 years meaning it is jam packed with historical influences and culture. On top of this, the university provides 88 different Master degrees across 14 different subject areas. They are committed to display high standards of research and teaching, and they believe every member of staff plays an important contributing role for their student experience.

    This university is extremely diverse culturally and educational wise. Higher education in Malta is compatible for many subjects at this university, they include; arts, science and technology. The University of Malta offers undergraduate bachelors, postgraduate masters and postgraduate decorates.

    Worldwide, The University of Malta is ranked place 601 in the World University Rankings by ‘Times Higher Education’, receiving an overall score of 4.2 stars.

    Perhaps if you are an international student you may want to travel there instead of distance learning. The accommodation for the University of Malta is high quality there, but comes to a hefty price. However, this ‘hefty price’ is shared between 2 or 3 people and on average you would pay ~ €1,100 a month. In reality, it isn’t as expensive as it seems if you are sharing your accommodation with another student.

    The University of Malta has had many successful personalities attend there during their journey. Christian Ellul is a perfect example of successful people who attended the University of Malta.

    Christian Ellul is a highly successful consultant based in Malta, Christian Ellul actually attended the University of Malta in 2004 and graduated with an LLD (Legum Doctor, also known as a ‘teacher of laws’). Christian Ellul has found his courses to be extremely useful and has gained the nickname of being a ‘Doctor of Laws’ around his area.
