    In most cases, when one thinks of building a career in aviation, becoming a pilot is one of the first things that come to mind. There are many other areas you can explore in the aviation industry, asides from being a pilot.     Airport operations manager: this is another career option available in this field. As an airport manager, you see to the safe departure and arrival of all flights in the airport. You are the middleman between the ATC and the closest support staff to you.

    Airport traffic controller: this is a very crucial role in the airport. They are the people responsible for arranging the flight schedule, and they also give signals for the takeoff and arrival of flights.
