    3 Extra Tips to Polish Your Bartending Skills

    Bartending is more than serving drinks to the guests, it is more about creating an amazing experience for them as well. You need to be charming, entertaining and dazzling with your bartending skills to prove that you are on the top of the game. If you are not sure what tricks and skills you may need, you can consider applying in École du Bar formation to step up to the game. And for those who are acquainted with the skills, you need to practice them more by honing your balance, flips and spins so as to keep the unprofessional spillages or breakages at bay.     • Napkins

     

    This may set you apart from the bar staff. All you need to do is spun them horizontally onto the bar where the glasses are placed upon. As you practice, you can also spin the napkin in the air and catch them with the back of your hand and place them on the bar when you turn it over. You can also spin it on your elbow then catch it in your hand and then place it on the bar.

     

    • Stall

     

    This entails catching and balancing the bottle on the back of your hand and keeping the bottle upright. When the bottle lands, you need to cushion it with your hand to balance it. There are infinite variations to this by using various body parts like elbow, forearm or a head. From the stall position, you can flip the bottle vertically before keeping it on the stall, you can also catch the bottleneck by your hand and pour it into the glass. Speaking of which…

     

    • Multi pour

     

    Get rid of the repetition by showcasing this very talent. When shakers have the drinks and ice, you can stack them on top of the next and a strainer on the top. If the glasses are an accurate distance apart, you can raise the stacked shakers in horizontal arch above the glasses so that the drinks can be poured easily from the gaps between the shakers and into the glasses. You can try this with any drink. All you need to have is enough spare shakers.
