Newbie’s Corner
What is the Newbie’s Corner?
On this page, you, as a registered and logged in subscriber, can do two things:
- view links to or view the trailers submitted by your peers,
and/or - submit the form below to indicate where we can view your videos to determine if we can post it directly on the site.
We will review the video for appropriateness, copyrights etc and make a decision (usually within 36-48 hours).
Once the link and/or video is posted you can solicit other members’ comments and evaluations. We will be posting shortly rubric/evaluation criteria for people to use. This method has been developed so that you can have a way to show off your work without having to post the trailers to You Tube and/or other places that might be prohibited by the firewall at your school.
To add a comment or message about any video in this Blog, simply click on the ‘Join the Forum Discussion’ link at the bottom of the page where the videos and links are are posted. When in the Forum, click ‘Add Topic’ button at top right. Don’t forget, in order to post to the Forum you need to be logged in.
To post comments about any topics you find, simply click on ‘Post Reply’ button.
You can also subscribe to the RSS so you will be notified anytime someone replies to your posting.
Please note that we assume you are taking responsibility for controlling copyright issues with your trailers. Please understand that we would have to remove the posting, should we be notified of a violation. Thanks in advance for understanding. Enjoy!
